Well, as I've mentioned on my 'sister' music blog, we have indeed closed Parkade for the last time, but we gave the place a proper send off ;)
The party lasted for about 8.5 hours, with DJ sets from Andy Asylum, DJNoNo Ulysses, Topher Delcon and me closing the whole thing. NoNo has recorded his set and you can download it from here and I also recorded mine, which whilst being 330MB, is well worth grabbing from here (tracklisting further down).
There were plenty of pictures taken on the night, by myself, NoNo and Dov Watanabe too, so check them out, they're well worth it. Sadly Parkade has gone forever, well most of it has (you'll need to have a scout around Republik midway through April) and it sadly won't be coming back but then as I've pointed out, it's all for the best. We had a blast there and it was one of SL's oldest clubs (Republik is older), but I'm much happier that it's gone out on a high. The crowds were awesome, really up for the whole night and it was nice to see so many people there too...
Anyway as promised, here is the tracklisting for my mix. Please excuse the beat drifting between 'Promiscuous' and 'Edit!'. I blame Dunproofin' :D

The set was a mix of tunes that over the years have become synonymous with me at Parkade, especially tracks like Dunproofin's 'FU2' which I have adopted as my anthem. I spent a lot of time thinking of what the ultimate Parkade anthem was, with a few others being played by both NoNo and Topher, and I wanted to end the night with what I thought the ultimate anthem was. I think I hit the nail pretty much on the head, especially judging by the reaction from the regulars there.
I would like to take this opportunity to thank everyone who's ever been involved with the place, right the way from the start with Pontiac at Motorati Island, all the way through to the close. We had a blast, we had some amazing times and we'll all miss the place.
Now, what we need to do is just party our asses off at Republik ;) Shouldn't be too hard :D
